Terms of use

These terms apply to Osmose Presenter (free version), OSMOSE+ (paid version), the osmosechurch.com website and the “My account” area. They are published by Osmose, a sole proprietorship based in Québec, Canada (“we”). By installing the software or creating an account, you accept these terms.
1. The software
Osmose Presenter is free. It runs on your computer, without an account or Internet, and its data stays on that computer.
OSMOSE+ adds advanced features: sync between computers, team and roles, 15 GB of online media storage, extra screens, lyrics for OBS, the Genesis assistant and more. OSMOSE+ requires an account and your church’s subscription.
The software is licensed to you, not sold. You may not resell it, decompile it or bypass its licence checks.
2. Account and church
• Each person signs in with their own e-mail address. Keep your access to yourself.
• The person who creates the church becomes its administrator. Administrators invite members, choose their roles and can block a computer.
• You must be authorized to act on behalf of the church you register.
• For security, sign-in is required again every 3 days.
3. Trial, subscription and payment
• Every new church gets a 14-day free trial of OSMOSE+, with no credit card.
• The subscription costs US$25 per month per church, plus applicable taxes. Only one person pays for the whole team.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• The subscription renews every month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in “My account” › Subscription; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Started months are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, OSMOSE+ stays active for 3 days while you update the card.
• We may change the price; you will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and the new price only applies from the next renewal.
4. End of the subscription
When the subscription or trial ends, OSMOSE+ features lock, but the software keeps working like the free version and your services, songs and media stay on your computers. The church’s online data is kept for 90 days, then may be deleted.
5. Your content and copyright
• Your services, songs, media and texts belong to you. You only allow us to store and transmit them to run the service.
• You are responsible for the rights to what you project: lyrics of copyrighted songs require a licence (for example CCLI), and recent Bible translations have their own rights.
• Do not upload anything illegal or that infringes the rights of others.
6. Genesis, the AI assistant
Genesis makes suggestions (songs, order of service, announcements, verses). They may contain mistakes: check them, especially Bible references. Nothing is applied without your click. The number of questions per church per day is limited.
7. Availability
We do our best to keep the online service available, without being able to guarantee it. OSMOSE+ keeps a copy of everything on each computer and works offline during the service, for up to 30 days without a licence check.
8. Liability
The software is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid over the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by Québec’s Consumer Protection Act.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after notifying you except in an emergency.
10. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and any significant change will be announced to you. These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada.
